We’re also looking for an appointment setter, someone with experience, here’s the ad.

An opportunity to start a career in the hottest growth industry – Solar Energy! California Green Designs (CGD) is one of the oldest Solar companies in the Los Angeles area. CGD has been in business since 1985 and has focused on Solar since 2000. CGD is a turnkey Solar PV designer & systems integrator. It has done many of the largest Solar installations in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

Position: Appointment Setter


Duties include but are not limited to:

· Generate leads from shows, expos, canvassing, and explore new ways of finding future clients

· Organize, participate in trade shows, neighborhood seminars

· Keep show materials, flyers, and supplies in order

· Work the leads, get the information from potential clients and qualify the leads

· Set and confirm the appointments for the sales consultants

· Keep the sales consultants schedules in order and full

· Enter leads into database, keep track of status, and do progress reports

· Have the desire to master and advance to the next level

Skills required:

· Great telephone Communication skills!

· People person; attention to detail!

· Persuasive, tenacious but pleasant, reliable, high integrity, honesty

· Will not accept “no” for an answer

· Enthusiasm for Solar products, the environment and the people who are interested in switching to Solar Energy

· Ability to follow directions and make decisions for themselves

· Computer skills required: Microsoft office, Xcel, and most importantly ACT

· Previous appointment setting experience is a must!

· Dedication to make the world a better place particularly with Solar Energy

· Would be required to work some evenings and/ or weekends

· Ability to lift boxes of up to 50lbs

· Desire to start a career with a great company in a hot industry with unbounded opportunity for growth


· $12/hr to start

· Commissions on appointments that lead to sales!
